New Zealand is a small country and many visitors comment on how beautiful and quiet it is. One of the most popular reasons people visit New Zealand and like to travel around it, is the scenery, landscapes and environment. Even New Zealanders themselves like to travel around and see beaches, lakes, mountains, glaciers, hot pools and have different cultural experiences.

Keeping NZ beautiful can often be an on-going struggle. We read about tourists visiting and creating new problems, problems with industries or the environment and problems with different parts of our natural habitats that threaten animals or plants. Keeping NZ beautiful is an on-going challenge for all of us.
